Thing #13

Google Docs and Zoho are two things that I was not familiar with. The though of having to learn how to use something new seemed frustrating at first. After reviewing these two tools I realized that I think I would pick Zoho over Google. Even though they are both very similar I think I will stick to searching on Google and using Zoho as a source to keep all of my work together. One thing that I do not like about Zoho is that it looks outdated compared to other tools that I have used.

Here is an example on the things you can do with Zoho and how you can share and store information using this tool.

  • I use Google almost daily. It has so much to offer and it keeps getting better. I spent some time using Google Calendar and Google translate which are both great tools.
  • Google calendar is a convenient way to keep up with dates and times. You can also have reminders for assignments or anything else you may need. For even more convenience you can have reminders sent to your cell phone, which is the best way for me to keep up with things. Students and teachers can use this to keep up with assignments and school related activities.
  • Google translate is another great tool that is convenient and educational. This would have been helpful to use in my foreign language class in High school and as an educational source for my English as a Second Language programs. There are many creative ways to utilize these tools in a classroom.
